I am working on the open-air museum project in Gabala. Since 2010 working in Gabala Archaeological Centre as a managing archaeological tours, organising summer schools for the pupils.
PhD Student in the field of public archaeology at the University of Lausanne. My thesis is titled: “Potentiel et limites de l’animation et de la reconstitution historiques dans la transmission des connaissances auprès des publics”.
The first time Lara got in contact with experimental archaeology was in 1995. As an ERASMUS student at the University of Edinburgh, she attended Nicholas Dixon’s Underwater Archaeology and contributed in building one of the wattle walls of the Scottish Crannog Centre.
I begin working in archaeology in 1985, excavating and experimental archaeological reconstruction of a medieval village at Cosmeston, Wales, UK. Since then extensive experience in field Archaeology and research, with concentration on late Roman and Migration Period material culture studies.
Pascale Barnes studied Human Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, USA.

Since 1993 I work on the field of living history, mainly covering the Middle Ages. I hold lectures in schools, kindergartens & universities in medieval clothing and equipment. I explain the development of arms and armour.
Since 1995 I am interested in archaeological open-air museums, living history and hands-on activities in order to get people excited to learn about and experience prehistoric times.
My historical interpretation activities give people space and time to step outside their everyday lives and experience serious learning in a fun and informal atmosphere. I work professionally with Museums, Schools and with volunteer re-enactment groups.
