Demonstrating and teaching bronze casting at Butser Ancient farm for 19 years.
My speciality is developing and testing Bronze Age weapons, working with leading experts and students to develop the knowledge at Butser.

Sculptor / Jeweller turned Metal smith with special interest in Bronze and Iron Age castings and metal work. Volunteer at Butser Ancient Farm assisting in Bronze Age sword castings and helping to set up an iron smelting project.

Sue studied Archaeology at the University of Exeter and her early career was as a Finds Assistant for the Museum of London and then as an Archaeological Illustrator for what is now English Heritage.

I completed my undergraduate degree from Wisconsin La Crosse with a double major in Archeology and Art. My art degree focused on ferrous and non-ferrous metalworking techniques, as well as wheel and hand made ceramics.

I first completed an apprenticeship as a blacksmith and then undertook further training in the field of occupational health and safety.

I am an archaeologist from Romania, and I am specialised in prehistoric archaeology (focussed on Bronze Age), the archaeology of salt and experimental archaeology.

I am an archaeologist working at Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto. My research activity focuses on the Bronze Age in Trentino, whereas my initiatives of science outreach, teaching, and practicals focus primarily on educating the general public to the prehistoric era.

I teach Medieval Archaeology and I make research from 1986. I am very interested to experimental, archaeometric and public experience in archaeology.

My name is Florian Messner and currently I'm writing my PhD in medieval archaeology at the University of Innsbruck. In my work I aim to thoroughly examine all extant swords from the 10th to the 15th century from the region of historical Tyrol.
