Take part in a tailor-made course to discover the Antiquity and create a Roman garment in the same way

On March 21th and April 2020, 4, the Museum of Saint-Romain-en-Gal - Vienna offers you participation in an archaeology experiment.

Surrounded by a dedicated team, you will be guided and accompanied each step of the way, from the historical discovery of Roman clothing to the realization of your own creation (choice of outfit, colors, materials, fitness and finalization). An experience to share in a friendly atmosphere!

For more than twenty years, the Museum of Saint-Romain-en-Gal - Vienna has been interested in the approach of experimental archaeology. As part of this research, three staff members of the museum have developed a work of re-creation of ancient Roman clothing, from ancient sources (texts, images, objects or results of digs). Don't hesitate to find out and sign up!
