Apple, rye, autumn fun

At the beginning of the golden autumn, the open-air museum invites you to a colorful festival. On the village square there is fruit from the museum gardens, Düppeler honey and much more. Find out everything about the variety of apples at the variety show and bring your own to be determined by the fruit arborist.

In the bakery, the medieval clay oven is fired with beech wood to bake bread like in the old days. Also yours, if you like: Bring a prepared bread dough with you and take the fully baked, deliciously fragrant loaf home with you! The oven will be ready from 2.30 p.m.

For the youngest guests, the puppet theater Vom kleine Volke tells  vivid and humorous stories  about the medieval world of imaginations “From village and farm”. At Iron Art's  forge, even the youngest can swing the blacksmith's hammer, and the popular straw area invites you to frolic and romp around.
