During the Roman Week, various activities can be found at Archeon. 

The restauration wharf can be visited where hard work is currently being done on the restoration of the Zwammerdam ships. A unique restoration where you can see for yourself how part by part, plank by plank, the ship is being restored .  

The spectacular gladiatorial fight takes place daily, the temple ceremony at the temple of Nehalennia and the rituals and customs around the bathhouse are shown. The Roman wall, which once stood in Albanianae (Alphen aan den Rijn) is definitely worth a visit so that you have a nice overview of the Roman city in Archeon.

Children can become a Roman themselves and can participate in the various Roman activities and of course take their own selfie as a Roman legionary.
