Various activities take place at Archeon during the Roman week from 25 April to 3 May. The Restauratiewerf can be visited where work is currently underway on the restoration of the Zwammerdam ships. A unique restoration where you can see for yourself how the ship to be restored is completed part by part, plank by plank.

Each day the spectacular gladiatorial battle takes place, the temple ceremony at the temple of Nehalennia and the rituals and customs around the bathhouse are shown. The Roman wall that once stood in Albanianae (Alphen aan den Rijn) is certainly worth a visit so that you have a nice overview of the Roman city in Archeon. Children can become Roman themselves and participate in various Roman activities and of course make their own selfie as a Roman legionary.
