We are delighted to be hosting an evening of stargazing on Friday 17th April. Doors open at 7.30pm, when visitors can buy hot and cold drinks in our visitor centre, and at 8pm Dave Woods from HantsAstro will give a short introduction to the night sky. Guests can then step outside into our ancient world and view stars and planets millions of years old through state-of-the-art telescopes.
In May 2016 the South Downs National Park gained International Dark Sky status due to its low levels of light pollution – what better way to celebrate this achievement than by stargazing on the highest point of the National Park?
