On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the model medieval town Megedeborch, the Magdeburg Cultural History Museum is organizing from 23.09. - 24.09.2021 the Living History symposium - learning in a historical guise. The symposium would like to open up different perspectives on living history, especially in museum practice. The focus is also on practical examples as well as theoretical, methodological and historical didactic aspects. Closely related to this is the question of how images of history are constructed.
As part of a market of possibilities, the participants also have the opportunity to present their own projects and exchange experiences.
The preliminary program can be found here. There is no conference fee.
