In Northwest Lombardy, in the province of Brescia, the heights of San Siro dominate the Camonica Valley. Here you will find the Archeodromo di Capodiponte.
The area is known for its caves and their prehistoric cave painting. The group “Archeologia da vivere” has constructed a Neolithic village at the Archeodromo, which else is lead by the nearby Museum of Prehistoric Art and Life. Prehistoric archaeology is being shown to the public, mainly to school groups. There are several hands on workshops and demonstration areas.
