During the weekend 8.-10. June 2019 we focus on textiles and the textile process.
This weekend we focus on the process from wool to finished dress. Every part of the chain will be done and it will be possible to follow the process.
In the town the ladies will tell about their craft and show their work. Meet the taylor, meet the dyer and learn about the process. Look at the weaver transform yarn into fabric.
The very skilled textile workers from the Finnish re-enactment group The Merry Swans will be visiting us during the weekend. They are prepared to show every step of the process and also answer questions.
