Bow and arrow involve archaeological, historical, technical, sporting and craft aspects. During this weekend, the basics of bow making and archery are taught with traditional equipment. Under expert guidance ready-to-use bows and arrows are crafted according to archaeological or ethnological models. The material will be prepared so that a ready-to-shoot bow can be made along with a few arrows. The course is conducted by our archaeotechnician Söhnke Raimann.
