Claus Detreköy is Chair of the association “Experimental Archaeology Switzerland (EAS)”. He is engaged already for years in getting experimental archaeology, as sub discipline of archaeology, more professional. He also is much involved in cooperation beyond borders between languages and countries. In this context he was EXARC board-member and Treasurer from 2016 until 2021.
He is specialized in Danish archaeology as well as Greenlandic archaeology, history and ethnology. He has a second residence in Eastgreenland.
Claus Detreköy is a trained teacher and special pedagogue. He has diplomas in management as well as economy. Claus Detreköy is director of an institution for people with special needs.
