In the recently opened Stonehenge Visitor Centre, which provides permanent and temporary exhibition about one of the most striking World Heritage sites, five neolithic houses were (re)constructed.

Open from

The five buildings have been (re)constructed by the Ancient Technology Centre with local materials on the base of data from excavations. Every building is furnished with replicas of original artefacts and completes the permanent exhibition. Volunteers have also collaborated and still do, by demonstrating daily neolithic activities within the houses to the visitors.
The Visitor centre provides thus all the information needed to experience Stonehenge, just ten minutes away and reachable through the shuttle service.
