I have been involved in reproduction of ancient textiles since childhood. I learned to spin on my great-grandmother's spinning wheel over 40 years ago, and have always been fascinated by pre-industrial textiles.

I am not a professionally trained archaeologist. I am a physicist by training. Until recently I was a research scientist at the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information technology at the University of California at San Diego.

Dr Geedh graduated in Arts & Crafts, specialized in Pottery & Ceramics, after finished her M.A. in Archaeology. As a part of her research, she is working in experimental and public archaeology.
