I am interested mainly in taphonomic and lithic experiments. I teach courses on experimental archaeology (MA-option), and on organic materials (3rd year option undergraduate), which involves replicating techniques at the Institute of Archaeology London.
I am an experimental archaeologist and have been presenting archaeology & history with my husband within education & the heritage industry for over 20 years. I make a range of archaeological & historical replica's including clothing.
In Kemerovskaya Oblast, near the village Pisanaya you will find the Historical, Cultural and Natural Museum-preserve “Tomskaya Pisanitsa”. Its main attraction are petroglyphs and cave paintings. The exhibition “Ancient Dwellings” illustrates the housing traditions and architecture of peoples of the Central Siberia in the ancient time, from the late Stone Age (the Upper Paleolithic, about 45 - 30 thousand years BC).
