The exhibition “Rock art tattoos” aims to highlight tattoos inspired by rock art around the World. The content in the exhibition is produced in its entirety by people kind enough to share their tattoos and stories with us.

The exhibition can be found on the web and as a photo exhibition at Vitlycke museum 24 June to 30 September. On July the 16th there will be a Rock art tattoo event with a lot of activities for both young and old.

Program

Workshop in screen-printing and sketching 10.00-18.00. Bring you own t-shirt for the printing.

Henna tattooing with Khadija Omar 10.00-18.00.

There will be an opportunity to get a real tattoo done if you want to get a permanent memory of you visit at Vitlycke. Tattoo artist: Hootchie-Coo tattoo

Artist talk by Linn Andersson Franek on her exciting tattoo project (more info here). You can also become a part of the exhibition on site, if you're already bearing a motif that suits the bill and feel like sharing your story.

After the museum closes at 18.00 we will move on to Gerlesborg art school to see the exhibition of Linn Andersson Franek and mingle.
