Eline M.J. Schotsmans is a research fellow at the University of Wollongong, Australia and the University of Bordeaux, France. Her research lies at the interface between archaeology, biological anthropology and forensic sciences with a focus on Neolithic mortuary sequences, preservation practices, taphonomy and method development through experiments at the Australian Facility for Taphonomic Experimental Research. She previously edited Taphonomy of Human Remains (2017, Wiley) with Shari Forbes and Nicholas Márquez-Grant.
