I am a PhD student in Archaeology from the University of Liverpool and my research is about how Archaic-Hellenistic Greek pottery kiln sites related with environmental and landscape settings.
As part of my PhD, I am working together with an expert craftsperson to an experimental Greek kiln project, funded by the North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership-Arts and Humanities Research Council.
My interest in experimental archaeology started when I was a MA student at the University of Padova (Italy), where I took part to the Experimental Archaeology Lab sessions. Then I worked as freelance commercial archaeologist and museum educator for several archaeological exhibitions in Padova.
I am interested in Classical pottery production, firing technologies, traditional archery and museum education.
