For more than 30 years, the Littleton Museum has served as the primary repository for the history, art, and culture of Littleton. Located on 39 acres, the museum consists of two living history farms (one from the 1860’s and one from the 1890’s), a small lake, a collections center, and a main exhibition and administration building.

Located in the heart of the California Mother Lode, Columbia State Historic Park is a living gold rush town featuring the largest single collection of existing gold rush-era structures in the state. Visiting Columbia is like traveling back in time to the sights, smells, and sounds of a nineteenth century mining town—merchants dressed in 1850′s attire, a whiff of coal smoke from the blacksmith shop, and the rumble of a stagecoach pulling into town!

The archaeological park of the Early Iron Age is located at the bank of the river Huecha in the municipality of Zaragoza Fréscano, at the foot of the archaeological site of Burrén-Burrena after which it is named, belonging to the so-called Urnfield Culture. It is the first archaeological park in Spain devoted to this period of prehistory, and aims to combine interdisciplinary teaching and archaeological research in a single project.

The Blue Ox Millworks and Historic Park is a national treasure tucked away on the Eureka waterfront. The millworks produces historically accurate, custom-made building parts and materials for the restoration of Victorian and other antique structures. It also hosts a craftsman’s village, a school, and even a radio station.

Sonoma State Historic Park is a state park located in the center of Sonoma, California. The park consists of six sites in Sonoma: the Mission San Francisco Solano, the Presidio of Sonoma or Sonoma Barracks, the Toscano Hotel, the Blue Wing Inn, and La Casa Grande and Lachryma Montis, the homes of General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo, Military Commander and Director of Colonization of the Northern Frontier.

The mission is part of the larger La Purísima Mission State Historic Park, part of the California State Parks system, and along with Mission San Francisco de Solano is one of only two of the Spanish missions in California that is no longer under the control of the Catholic Church. It is currently the only example in California of a complete Spanish Catholic mission complex.

The archaeological site of Numancia is situated south of the village of Garray in the region of Castilla y Leon, Spain, and is one of the most known battle sites during the wars between Rome and the Celtiberians.

Los Millares is one of the most important sites of the European Chalcolithic. It is located north of the town of Almeria, placed in the southern coast of Spain, in the region of Andalusia. The settlement dates from 3200 to 2200 BC and was protected by four circles of walls with circular towers. Its necropolis, with over 100 collective tombs, has no comparison in Europe. The site gives a name to one of the Chalcolitic (Copper Age) cultures of Europe.

The archaeological park of Los Enebralejos is located a few kilometres north of the village of Pradena, in the region of Castilla y Leon, central Spain. The centre of the park is the Cave, discovered in 1932, in which paintings and tombs from the Chalcolithic were discovered.
