The Legionary Trail is a Roman archaeological park in Windisch/Brugg, (nearby Zurich), in the canton of Argovia. It stands on the historical site of the only Roman army camp ever established in Switzerland. Visitors discover ten archaeological sites and accurately reconstructed Roman military barracks from the 1st century AD. Originally, the camp spread out over some 20 hectares. The barracks were first built out of timber and clay by the soldiers of the 13th legion. Over the years, a civilian settlement developed outside the legionary camp, which grew to around 45 hectares and probably accommodated some 10,000 inhabitants.

No past – no future! "The Kievan Rus Park" (Парк Київська Русь) project is the Center of culture and history of Ancient Rus – is a unique reconstruction of one of the most famous and at the same time the most mysterious medieval city of the Eastern Europe – Ancient Kyiv of the V-XIII centuries, the capital of the greatest medieval state – Kievan Rus.

It is being reconstructed in the size of its historical center known as Detinets (Kremlin) of Kyiv or the city of Vladimir in its real scale 1:1, taking into consideration the modern science knowledge.

Archeopark Mesopotamia (Археопарк Междуречье), just 25 km north from Ulyanovsk, is an archaeological open-air museum and archaeological reservation of 250 hectares. It includes as well a small hotel and an indoor museum. A visit starts with a guided tour which includes demonstration of craftspeople.

The reservation holds so-called forest towns (9th – 12th century AD) as well as traces of the earlier Imenkov Culture (4th – 7th century AD) including iron smelting furnaces and traces of pottery making.
Archeopark Mesopotamia is a successful organiser of larger historic festivals, skill straining and international experimental archaeology conferences.
