This annual conference of the European Association for the advancement of archaeology by experiment EXAR takes place at the Archäologisches Landesmuseum Brandenburg (Paulikloster) in Brandenburg an der Havel (Germany). For this conference we ask for presentations.
Whitsun 2018 will be exciting at the Heuneburg! Living history actors depicting prehistory, Iron Age, Roman times, the Middle Ages and modern times populate the Celtic town. How was an armament set up? How were weapons forged? What did a soldier of the First World War carry in his pack? All these questions will be answered!
Farrell Monaco is an experimental archaeologist and food-writer whose research centres on food, food preparation, and food-related ceramics in the Roman Mediterranean. She holds a BA (Hons) Archaeology from the University of Leicester and is a current MA candidate at the same institution.

The purpose of this re-enactment event is to promote the Ancient Roman ceramic center near Pavlikeni, which existed in the 2nd-3rd century AD.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we invite you to participate in the African Conference on Experimental Archaeology (ACE), in Johannesburg, South Africa. The conference will be held at the Wits Club, University of the Witwatersrand. ACE encourages the exchange and sharing of new work in scientific experiments and closely related activities focussing on African and Africanist research.
