As a multifaceted craftsperson I have always been interested in the ''making of" anything really, but more specifically tools, practical objects and decoration. Working with ceramics and incense during my BA ignited more of the interest in experimental archaeology. I work primarily with organics, plants being the most used, and am interested in applying different techniques to the process. Though pyrography is something I have been doing since a young age. Food processing with a variety of tools is something I have been exploring more recently, mainly looking into fermentation and preservation using techniques of the past.
Currently, a research masters student looking into the migration of hominins and their interaction with their environment in terms of plants within refugia.
