Historical and Archaeological Interpretation
I have been involved in experimental archaeology since the early 80's, specialising in prehistoric houses in Britain.
My ongoing research work in the last ten years has been exploring Late Iron Age roundhouses.
In particular 1:1 scale construction, with evidence tightly locked to individual excavations, and the living conditions within the houses.
I work outreach with many groups and organisations such as scouts, local authorities, and museums.
I have had the good fortune to work under the umbrella of Butser Ancient Farm for many years, with a number of my buildings being part of the educational environment.
