I completed my undergraduate degree from Wisconsin La Crosse with a double major in Archeology and Art. My art degree focused on ferrous and non-ferrous metalworking techniques, as well as wheel and hand made ceramics. After graduation I worked for a number of years as an archeologist in Wisconsin, primarily excavating Oneota sites, as well as teaching at a local pottery studio and continuing metalworking in my free time. I furthered combined these disciplines with my masters degree in Experimental Archeology at the University of Exeter. My masters dissertation dealt with examining Oneota ceramics to determine production techniques and replicating these processes. I would like to continue my work with Oneota ceramics, as well as expand my research to other time periods and regions in the United States.
