I have been involved in Historic Building Conservation for 40 years including Experimental Archaeology. I am currently a conservation consultant and historic materials practitioner.

My research and experimentation activity started in summer 2008 with the first pit-firings and the first mono-chamber kiln (Bronze Age).

Sue studied Archaeology at the University of Exeter and her early career was as a Finds Assistant for the Museum of London and then as an Archaeological Illustrator for what is now English Heritage.

Tammy Hodgskiss is the Curator at the Origins Centre museum, University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. Tammy is an archaeologist and received her PhD in 2013 from Wits University.

Retired carpenter historic building consultant, conservator, MA Cons York UK, At present studying Anglo-Saxon and Viking woodworking, preparing Article/book on reconstruction of Anglo-Saxon buildings based on archaeological evidence and not by guess-work.

Dr. Liye Xie studies the co-construction of technology and society with specialties in preindustrial technologies of bone, stone, and earthen construction.

Claus Detreköy is Chair of the association “Experimental Archaeology Switzerland (EAS)”. He is engaged already for years in getting experimental archaeology, as sub discipline of archaeology, more professional.

Paläotechnik offers ancient technology expertise since 1996. The main focus is on indigenous and prehistoric skin processing technology, including related fields like bone, antler and ivory technology.

Lecturer with PhD. My specialist in Experimental Archaeology, My PhD. experimentation was about transporting amphorae by camels on the eastern desert road in the Roman era. I Am a very passionate and active individual.

I have been involved with experimental archaeology since my student days. I started in the field of ceramics followed by research into the historical relationship between ecosystems and material-actions. At present my focus is on open-fired ceramics and adaptive construction.
