The small, fine studio exhibition "Europe's craft in the Bronze Age and today" can now be seen in the panorama room of the Arche Nebra in southern Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
The exhibition is dedicated to the pottery of the early Bronze Age. You can see hand-made ceramics based on archaeological models from four different European regions. The ceramics were produced as part of the EU project CRAFTER "Crafting Europe in the Bronze Age and Today" in the 2018 European Heritage Year. EXARC was part of this EU project together with 7 other partners. The development process was documented on film and thus illustrates the complex work processes of the pottery in the past.
The exhibition is on loan from the State Museum of Prehistory in Halle, where the ceramics were already on display last year.
