By early 2015, EXARC had 225 members in 37 countries worldwide. The 9th Experimental Archaeology Conference #EAC9 Conference in Dublin was the largest in this series so far, with over 200 delegates. The EXARC Chair, Bill Schindler, gave an inspiring speech in Dublin and later this year, starred in a National Geographic TV series.
OpenArch published a PR Book with strategies for archaeological open-air museums which turned out to be a great success. It is still available on the EXARC website as PDF.
EXARC had a meeting about tourism in Austria and started a fundraising for its new website which was finally presented in 2018. 2015 was a good year for many of our members, either being awarded or celebrating their 20, 30 or even 40 years anniversary.
