EXARC is looking for a volunteer to help us develop the EXARC Experimental Archaeology Collection in tDAR - http://www.experimentalarchaeology.net

We have over 11,000 citations from the original EXARC bibliography that need to be proofread and have extra descriptive information added. The volunteer would review the records and make sure they match a style guide provided by EXARC.

The volunteer would need a good attention to detail and a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of a second or third language at reading and proofreading proficiency would be preferred. The volunteer should be available from August 21 to November 18 or similar dates. We would need someone who is able to commit up to 60 hours to the project (about 5 hours a week), although the beginning and end time does have some flexibility. The volunteer would learn how to use the digital repository, tDAR, and gain experience working on a collaborative, international project.
