I have been involved in Historic Building Conservation for 40 years including Experimental Archaeology. I am currently a conservation consultant and historic materials practitioner. I have set up traditional brick and tile making industries in Romania and also built lime kilns for local production. I have worked on The Great Wall of China making traditional mortars for restoration work. I have taken part in a number of Europrean Iron Smelting Festivals.
