Sculptor / Jeweller turned Metal smith with special interest in Bronze and Iron Age castings and metal work. Volunteer at Butser Ancient Farm assisting in Bronze Age sword castings and helping to set up an iron smelting project.
My research and experimentation activity started in summer 2008 with the first pit-firings and the first mono-chamber kiln (Bronze Age).
I’m a Self-employed studio potter, specialising in a contemporary practice of throwing tableware on a potter’s wheel. I gained an experimental archaeology Masters at Exeter university in 2014.
I am an archaeologist from Romania, and I am specialised in prehistoric archaeology (focussed on Bronze Age), the archaeology of salt and experimental archaeology.
My particular area of knowledge is the Late Iron Age, with specialising in ancient equitation, from how bridles and saddles were made, why they were made so and the technology which went into their creation.
Hi! I am Luigi, an Archaeology student from University of Ferrara. Since 2011 I am a member of Suliis As Torc, a living history and experimental archaeology association, working on the 2nd Iron Age in Northern Italy and the Balearic Culture during the Second Punic War.
I am a prehistoric archaeologist and I have always been interested in experimental archeology and historical re-enactment. I studied Archaeology first at the University of Modena and then at the University of Bologna where I graduated with Prof.
I graduated in Cultural Heritage Management with a thesis on Anthropology in 2011. I published two articles with EXARC (2013-2 and 2018-3) and a book published in 2018 ("I guerrieri Piceni").
Dr. in Quaternary and Prehistory with European mention in the University Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona (Spain) in collaboration with the University of Ferrara (Italy).
